The Club aims at promoting board games to schoolmates as a means to develop students’ friendship, partnership, critical thinking and communication skills.
The club has provided students with 4 sets of Chinese Chess for Chinese Chess Competition rounds 1, 2 and 3. The marks of each student were calculated during the competition. If a student won a match, he would get 1 mark. The student who achieved the highest mark would be the winner of the competition. The club had prepared a prize (around $300) for each winner. As for the Board Game Fun Day, the club provided students with different kinds of board games (about 15 kinds of board games, e.g.: Chess and San Guo Sha.) to develop their interest in various board games.
